As a Schomburg-Mellon fellow I have learned more in the first five days here, then I have learned in school my whole life and I have never been more excited to do so. My individual research prospectus will be on my family history and genetic ancestry. I will be blogging about this experience in a new blog. Once its up I will post the link here and on my Facebook. I will still use this blog to showcase what I'm thinking and reading every once in a while.
